Hello Sir I am a bit confused. Got one question: what is the importance of the pre release material related to the exams paper either P2 or P4? I will be sitting for exams of Computer Science 9608 May/June 2020. Much appreciated if you could explain it to me in details.

DeletePre-release materials are so important. Because in Paper-2 (Section-A) there will be 20 marks of question based on this pre-release material. So, if you don't want to lose your 20 marks or want to answer Section-A in paper-2, Study the pre-release material from now. Best of luck !

DeleteWhat Ive understood is that the 20 marks of questions will be allocated based from the Appendix section of the pre release material? lets say examples given how to use Built-in functions like MID, LENGTH, RIGHT, RND and so on? Am I right? There will be questions related to the Built-in functions.
Secondly, what is the uses for the Tasks part. Like Task 1, Task 1.2, Task 2, Task 2.1 and so on? How are questions from Paper 2 related to the tasks part from the pre release?
